Church in the Park- Calvary Chapel Camarillo

Calvary Chapel Camarillo contacted Break Free to have us come and serve alongside them at the 15 year anniversary celebration since their church started. The way that this specific opportunity came about is totally the Lords doing. When Break Free was in Japan this past July, we worked with the church Fuse Community Jesus. One of the people attending the Fuse church was in the Navy and his station was outside the Tokyo area. He used to attend the Calvary Chapel Camarillo and he gave his old church in California our contact information. The rest is history. We had a great time serving with CC Camarillo. The service was held in a public park and there were probably over 1200 people attending. I , Josh, had the privilege to share my testimony and then the pastor gave a gospel message after which led to many conversions! After the service was done I was walking out to go perform and one of the event staff workers stopped me and introduced me to a Hispanic man who was also working on the staff. He wanted to let me know (with tears in his eyes) that he gave his heart to Jesus. I was so thrilled and happy for the Lord saving this man’s soul. After the message, we were able to do a bboy demonstration in a skate park alongside other BMX bikers and skaters. We had a great time and felt very loved by the church. “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (Check out the videos of this event on: www.breakn4christ.com)
